About the position

The Supply System Analyst position involves monitoring and reviewing processes and performance for enterprise-wide Order Fulfillment initiatives. The role serves as a senior advisor to the Process Owner, focusing on improving the effectiveness of performance reviews and ensuring compliance with regulations. The analyst will develop methodologies, conduct policy analysis, and provide recommendations for complex Order Fulfillment issues, contributing to the successful implementation of enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and reviews processes and performance for enterprise-wide studies and initiatives.
  • Serves as senior advisor to the Process Owner regarding Order Fulfillment functional process performance issues.
  • Develops methodology and procedures to identify problems and develop solutions that improve effectiveness of performance review.
  • Plans, organizes, and directs reviews; assigns segments of the review to various functional process organizations.
  • Coordinates the efforts of functional analysts/experts throughout the agency.
  • Provides recommendations to the Process Owner and senior agency representatives based on research and findings.
  • Recommends process-specific improvement designs based on comprehensive surveys and studies.
  • Conducts policy analysis and serves as Agency expert for the development and implementation of enterprise-wide policies related to Order Fulfillment processes.
  • Analyzes legislative/regulatory requirements impacting Order Fulfillment process activities and ensures compliance with applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service, military, or private sector.
  • Knowledge of Order Fulfillment processes, including system functionality and business capabilities.
  • Understanding of the critical path of both system and manual activities to recommend changes in process execution.
  • Knowledge of financial statement audit requirements and internal controls as applied to Order Fulfillment processes.
  • Ability to interpret policy direction affecting operating requirements and implement/recommend new directives and policies.
  • Experience applying supply policy, procedures, techniques, tools, and methods to various work situations.
  • Knowledge of organizations, programs, missions, and operations at the assigned location and their interrelationship to Directorate/office activities.
  • Familiarity with systems applications governing automated supply management and data maintenance.
  • Skill in written and oral communication for preparing and presenting briefing materials and project reports.
