About the position

The Supply Teacher for Art serves as a substitute teacher in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, primarily focusing on providing instruction and managing the classroom environment. This role is essential for maintaining continuity in the educational process and ensuring that students receive quality instruction even when their regular teacher is unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance
• Manages classroom and provides instruction to students
• Uses appropriate behavior management strategies
• Compiles, maintains, and submits required records
• Promotes the responsible use of materials and equipment
• Maintains prompt and professional communication with parents
• Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; preferably in a specific content area
• No certification or license required
• No prior experience needed
• Ability to perform routine physical activities
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage students effectively
