About the position

The Supply Tech position at PRIDE Industries involves performing technical supply management tasks under general supervision. The role focuses on maintaining supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring the safe operation of equipment. The Supply Tech will work closely with coworkers and customers to resolve discrepancies and improve supply processes, contributing to the company's mission of creating jobs for people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain supplies, stock, and equipment to ensure proper operation and safe condition.
  • Prepare records and reports as needed using government or spreadsheet software.
  • Investigate discrepancies and report them to management, recommending improvements to resolve issues.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and customers.
  • Safely and properly use products and equipment to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Perform aspects of technical supply management work including inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization.
  • Analyze, define or recognize the complexity of problems, collect necessary data to establish facts, and take recommended action based on established guidelines.
  • Safely operate forklift, pallet jack, and hand-truck.
  • Frequent travel between facilities or shops.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least one year of related work experience.
  • Working knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
  • Possess written and oral communication skills to effectively follow instructions, present information, and respond to management, employees, and customers.
  • Mathematical ability including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to work safely and properly use tools and equipment.
  • Ability to travel to various facilities.
  • Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and common sense skills.
  • Customer service skills to act responsively to customer inquiries and requests; and escalate matters appropriately.
  • An understanding of facilities maintenance operational guidelines related to supplies.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities.
  • Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
