About the position

The Supply Technician position at Sierra Army Depot involves managing and maintaining supply chain operations within the Property Management Branch. The role focuses on performing quality audits, maintaining office files, and correcting data entry discrepancies in automated systems. This position is essential for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of supply transactions and supporting the overall mission of the Army's logistics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality audits on Automated Accountable System transactions.
  • Maintain office files for the division.
  • Correct data entry discrepancies within Automated Accountable Systems.
  • Conduct investigations to determine the correct action required for the causative research program.

Requirements

  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level in the Federal service, including using standardized supply regulations, policies, and procedures to research supply issues, and updating and maintaining an automated supply database system.
  • A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, or a combination of education and experience that totals at least 100% of the requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with supply support for an organization.
  • Familiarity with automated systems for entering property book records.
  • Ability to gather data to develop reports.
