About the position

The Support Engineer at Solenis will play a crucial role in supporting the primary customer in International Falls, MN, ensuring the effective, economical, and safe use of treatment chemicals and equipment. This position involves collaboration with Service Technicians and Account Managers to design and implement treatment programs, conduct routine service visits, and assist with technical issues at customer sites. The role also includes data analysis on program performance and identifying growth opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.

Responsibilities

• Support the primary customer to ensure effective, economical, and safe use of treatment chemicals and equipment.
• Assist Service Technicians and Account Managers with the design and implementation of treatment programs.
• Communicate with sales management regarding account activity.
• Conduct routine service visits and testing as required to ensure safe and effective treatment programs.
• Generate and distribute reports after each service visit.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Assist with technical issues at customer sites and work with the key account manager on corrective action plans.
• Keep the sales account manager informed of outcomes and follow-ups.
• Identify growth opportunities at existing customers and assist with prospect accounts as required.
• Assist with data analysis on program performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in boiler water treatment or similar industries.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Customer-focused with good communication skills, both written and oral.
