About the position
The Support Lead position at Infosys focuses on providing technical support for custom IT applications in the supply chain domain. Responsibilities
- Provide support on custom IT applications catering to the supply chain area.
- Analyze the root cause of reported issues and implement solutions.
- Adhere to support service level agreements in day-to-day work.
- Communicate effectively with users and stakeholders regarding incident closures.
- Work collaboratively in a global team environment, including onsite-offshore models.
- Take proactive ownership of tasks and follow up on incident resolutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting Python and Oracle PL/SQL applications.
- Good hands-on knowledge of Python scripting and using pandas data frames.
- Strong understanding of Oracle PL/SQL, including packages, procedures, functions, and performance tuning concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Good understanding of support service level agreements.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of change management processes in support services.
- Flexibility to work on-call weekend shifts on a rotational basis.
- Experience in prioritizing work based on incident/event priority in a support environment.
