About the position

The Support Operations Analyst at Veeva Systems plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Support team by providing data-driven insights and analytics. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about data and its impact on business operations. The analyst will work closely with the Senior Support Leadership across all global regions, acting as the primary point of contact for all data-related requests within the Support function. This role requires a deep understanding of Support data analytics, enabling the analyst to provide strategic insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive the success of the Support team. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining operational dashboards that utilize creative visualizations to represent Support data in a clear and effective manner. This includes developing a metrics library that defines how various KPIs are calculated, ensuring consistency and clarity in reporting. The analyst will also need to familiarize themselves with the support tools and processes, understanding how these elements influence the data that flows into analytics. Validation of reporting will be a key task, requiring a combination of analytical skills and knowledge of support tools. Additionally, the Support Operations Analyst will conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support both internal and external business requests, showcasing their ability to analyze and interpret data for various Support teams. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Support data-related requests
  • Create and maintain operational dashboards using creative visualizations to best represent Support data simply and effectively
  • Create a metrics library defining how different KPIs are calculated
  • Learn the support tools and processes and how they impact data flowing into analytics
  • Validate reporting using a combination of analytics and support tools
  • Understand Support data analytics and provide strategic insights
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support internal and external business requests

Requirements

  • 2+ years in an analytics-focused role building reports/dashboards
  • Strong Excel and SQL skills
  • Experience in a data cloud platform tool (e.g., Tableau, Sigma, PowerBI, Data Bricks, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data for various Support teams
  • Organization in prioritizing and managing multiple projects and requests

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiar with Support/Call Center tools (Zendesk, ServiceNow, Avaya, etc.) and processes
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
