About the position

The Support Operations Lead at Foxhole Technology is responsible for overseeing the Security Operations Center (SOC) operations, ensuring the availability and effectiveness of security tools and software. This role involves managing the implementation, operations, maintenance, and lifecycle of security technologies, while also revising processes to enhance operational activities and governance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security and will work collaboratively with stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and drive impactful innovations in cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to SOC operations and ensure availability of tools and software.
• Implement, operate, maintain, and manage the lifecycle of security technologies to support the SOC and other cybersecurity functions.
• Revise and develop processes to strengthen current operational activities and review policies to improve governance based on knowledge of SOC tools.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to build and maintain positive working relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years IT experience with at least three (3) years of experience administering Red Hat Linux and Microsoft Windows Server.
• Five (5) years' experience leading teams that manage and provide Network Administration in LAN/WAN environments, with knowledge of Cisco Switching/Routing/Security administration and maintenance.
• Experience with server configuration, setups, and installations.
• Experience with cloud environments and familiarity with SCRUM/Agile Framework methodologies.
• BS Degree or additional work experience substitution.
• Experience in resiliency planning (Continuity, Contingency, Devolution, Disaster Recovery).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with multiple Windows Server OS including 2008/2012/2016/2019, Active Directory, MS Exchange, and MS Outlook administration.
• Experience with storage and backup solutions.
• Experience with Dell servers/workstations and CISCO routers/switches.
• Experience with LAN/WAN architecture.
• Experience with Java scripting and Python scripting.
• Experience with SIEM solutions.
• Firewall administration experience (Checkpoint, Juniper, Cisco, etc.).
• MCSE, CCNA and/or CCSA Certification.
• RHCE Certification.
