About the position

The Support Specialist role at IPeople Healthcare involves providing front-line service to clients in the healthcare industry. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn about healthcare products and processes while delivering exceptional customer support. The role requires a basic understanding of Windows-based applications and the ability to troubleshoot and assist users effectively. On-the-job training will be provided for proprietary products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Answer support phone and email questions and complete customer support tickets.
  • Assist users in working with IPeople Healthcare products & services.
  • Perform basic diagnostics and troubleshooting for IPeople products & services.
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide user assistance in solving issues.
  • Collaborate with customers and developers to help test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems to address customer issues.
  • Review and analyze performance indicators to locate code problems and correct the identified errors or route them properly.
  • Route and document customer issues and communicate appropriately.
  • Actively focus on and contribute to the success of the customer experience.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding or familiarity with database connectivity (ADO/ADO.NET, ODBC, OLE DB, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of SQL Server and its related tools (e.g. SSMS, SQL Profiler, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of VBScript (or similar scripting languages ex. Javascript, Python).
  • Have a passion for customer service.
  • Have a passion for learning.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Good understanding of Windows development techniques and Microsoft development tools/environments.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical customers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
