The Food Runner position at Hartley Restaurant is essential for ensuring that guests receive their food and beverages promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and complete before serving to guests.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate order delivery.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
• Support the kitchen staff by helping with food handling and preparation as needed.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to customer inquiries or requests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in guest services or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of food handling, culinary practices, and food safety regulations is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding service to guests.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
