About the position

The Support Staff position at Apalachee Center, Inc. involves performing secretarial and clerical functions to support the operations of the primary care team. Responsibilities

  • Serve as receptionist, answering, screening, and routing calls for assigned staff.
  • Conduct client financial assessments and perform administrative intakes to gather data for financial eligibility and insurance fees.
  • Set client fees in accordance with policy and perform fee collections, issuing receipts as necessary.
  • Maintain time records, client service records, and insurance records as assigned.
  • Open and maintain client files, performing administrative reviews for completeness and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate processing of work orders and supply requisitions, ensuring prompt filling of orders.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of secretarial/clerical experience.
  • Typing score of at least 55 CWPM.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
