About the position

The Support Staff Team Leader at Silver Cliff Ranch is responsible for managing a team of support staff to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests. This role involves overseeing daily operations, providing feedback to leadership, and maintaining high standards of customer service and hospitality during the summer employment period from May 19, 2025, to August 7, 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee five staff members to ensure daily and weekly tasks are completed efficiently and completely.
  • Check in with staff members and provide feedback to Silver Cliff leadership as needed.
  • Motivate staff members to meet expectations while instilling values of people first, lead with curiosity, and create an inclusive space for all guests.
  • Hold staff members accountable for their work.
  • Assist with the serving of three meals per day.
  • Assist in cleaning the campus after groups leave, including cleaning cabins and bathrooms, performing laundry duties, and cleaning main gathering spaces.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and Dining Hall after every meal.
  • Offer support and assistance to groups as requested.
  • Assist in maintaining facility grounds and reporting any maintenance hazards or issues.
  • Complete end of day tasks as assigned.
  • Provide guests with a high level of customer service.
  • Execute other duties assigned by the Deputy Executive Director.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous hospitality or service positions preferred.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Ability to lead a team and relate well with others.
  • Good communication and motivational skills.
  • Self-starter and organizer.
  • Proficiency in the safe and proper use of cleaning equipment and tools.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental hazards.
  • Ability to provide First Aid and assist guests in emergencies once certified.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
  • Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
  • Pass pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
