About the position

The Bright Horizons Associate Teacher position is a part-time role focused on supporting the education and care of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The role involves working collaboratively with another Child Care Teacher to create a safe and engaging learning environment, while also providing opportunities for personal and professional growth through free college degree programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Communicate daily with parents about their child's progress.
• Document and share important milestones in each child's day.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom by following established procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated experience working with children, preferably in child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
• Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree preferred.
• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in early childhood education or related fields.
• Certification in Child Development Associate (CDA).
