About the position

The Supported Employment Coordinator at West Central Behavioral Health is responsible for managing the Supported Employment team, which serves adults with severe and persistent mental illness. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, hiring and training staff, and ensuring the delivery of effective employment services. The Coordinator will also engage with community stakeholders and collaborate with various teams to enhance program fidelity and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the supported employment programs including supervision of Supported Employment Specialists.
• Develop and train staff in workforce competencies; ensure program and staff meet all goals.
• Ensure benefit/entitlement information is disseminated in a timely manner.
• Provide ongoing communication and education to clinical teams regarding supported employment services.
• Function as a Supported Employment Specialist for assigned consumers.
• Provide direct Supported Employment Services, illness management skills, employment planning, job development services, and employer support.
• Serve as a link to relevant community stakeholders through education, advocacy, and support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, rehabilitation, counseling, social work, nursing, or equivalent education and work experience.
• Master's level degree in rehabilitation counseling or related field is preferred.
• 2 years' related Human Services experience.
• Supervisory experience.
