About the position

Valley Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a thriving oncology team at Winchester Medical Center. This role involves providing both inpatient and outpatient services in a state-of-the-art Cancer Center, with a focus on surgical oncology and colorectal surgery. The position is open to new graduates and experienced PAs, offering a supportive environment with no call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient services in oncology.
• Assist in surgical procedures as the 1st Assist in the OR (approximately 30-40% of FTE).
• Cross-train in surgical oncology and colorectal surgery.
• Collaborate with a team of surgeons and support staff.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Physician Assistant.
• Experience in surgical settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
