About the position

The position is for a Surgical Technologist at Norman Regional Surgical Services, which operates 24 state-of-the-art operating rooms. The role involves assisting surgeons during operative procedures while maintaining a safe and sterile environment. The position offers extensive orientation and training to ensure proficiency across various surgical service lines, emphasizing teamwork and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assists the surgeon during the operative procedure.
• Maintains a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room area.

Requirements

• Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program or five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech.
• Must have completed accredited Surgical Technology program or have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech or LPN with one (1) year surgical tech preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for duration of employment.
• If Certified Surgical Technologist, must have current certification.
• Currently Oklahoma LPN license required if applicable.

Nice-to-haves
