About the position
The position is for a Surgical Technologist at Norman Regional Surgical Services, which operates 24 state-of-the-art operating rooms. Responsibilities
- Assists the surgeon during the operative procedure.
- Maintains a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room area.
Requirements
- Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program or five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech.
- Must have completed accredited Surgical Technology program or have five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech or LPN with one (1) year surgical tech preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for duration of employment.
- If Certified Surgical Technologist, must have current certification.
- Currently Oklahoma LPN license required if applicable.
