The Surgical Technologist Inpatient Coordinator at Avera McKennan Hospital is responsible for facilitating surgical care services in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Facilitate surgical care services in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Assist in patient care under the oversight of the Resource Nurse.
- Make supply and equipment judgments when integrating healthcare services.
- Function as an extension of the Resource Nurse to support surgical operations.
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
- Previous experience as a Surgical Technician preferred.
- Successful completion of National Exam of O.R. Technicians preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a surgical unit environment.
