The Surgical Technologist position in the Operating Room involves providing essential support during surgical procedures. This role is crucial in ensuring that the operating room is prepared and that all necessary instruments and supplies are available for the surgical team. Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are sterile and ready for use.
• Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitor the patient's condition during surgery and communicate any changes to the surgical team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the operating room before, during, and after procedures.
• Participate in the inventory and ordering of surgical supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program.
• Experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with various surgical specialties such as orthopedic, cardiovascular, or neurosurgery.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
