About the position

The Surveillance Agent I at Pechanga Resort & Casino is responsible for monitoring and observing gaming-related activities through video surveillance to ensure compliance with regulations, internal controls, and company policies. This entry-level position involves data gathering, analysis, and reporting on unusual activities, as well as assisting with investigations and audits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and observe casino activities and property via video surveillance to identify potential criminal behavior.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Minimal Internal Control Standards (MICS), and applicable regulations.
• Document and report unusual activities that may suggest criminal behavior or policy violations.
• Operate and maintain the Closed Circuit Television System, preserving historical video to Gaming Commission Standards.
• Gather data from various sources and maintain database systems.
• Assist in conducting statistical analyses and preparing reports on operational data.
• Support department investigations, audits, and reviews.
• Answer incoming calls and emails.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in a similar position or equivalent education and experience.
• Current PGC Class 'A' Gaming License.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and nights.
• Ability to pass background check, credit check, and drug screening upon hire.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of gaming violations and applicable regulations.
• Familiarity with table and carnival games strategy and advantage play methods.
• Aptitude for learning and using various computer software and applications.
