About The Position

Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, the officer will observe and report any and all unusual activities within the casino. This position is responsible for compliance with the Casino’s internal control policy and procedure as it relates to the positions stated job description.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ to Apply
• Must pass initial drug screening, background investigation, random drug tests and credit check.
• Must be able to fill out a daily log.
• Must be able to write an incident report.
• Must be able to watch monitors for long periods of time.
• Must present a positive attitude while working at the casino.
• Must have good verbal communication skills on the phone.
• Must know policies and procedures in the surveillance department and other departments also.
• Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
• Regularly required to talk or hear.
• Regularly required stand, sit, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Must be willing and able to work on a rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Observing and video taping of all casino activities.
• Detecting any patrons or employees engaged in cheating or any other criminal activities.
• Protecting Casino assets.
• Making sure gaming rules and regulation are being followed.
• Keeping a daily log.
• Watching the entire soft and hard count.
• Watching all drops of machines and tables.
• Keeping live monitoring of all card games.
• Other duties as required.
