About the position
The position is responsible for protecting casino assets through the use of CCTV systems. The role involves monitoring activities on the casino floor and ensuring compliance with state gaming regulations and company policies. It requires effective communication and implementation of procedures as directed by the Surveillance Shift Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Plan, communicate, and implement procedures in accordance with the director.
- Observe activities of guests and employees via CCTV for criminal activity and violations.
- Videotape activities and report observations to appropriate officials.
- Record surveillance activity in a daily log.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts.
- Develop and maintain positive guest relations, resolving minor disputes.
- Assist in ensuring the safety and security of all guests and employees.
- Stay informed about special events and promotional activities.
Requirements
- Ability to work shifts as scheduled.
- Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
- Knowledge of CCTV equipment and multiplayers.
- Knowledge of casino games and internal controls.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- One year of dealer experience or attendance at dealer schools preferred.
- Completion of all company-required training within designated time frames.
