About the position

The Survey CAD Drafter position involves the development of survey plans and construction documents while working on complex CAD projects under the guidance of a Professional Land Surveyor. This role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple assignments with competing priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company's CAD standards throughout all projects, ensuring that work is performed accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities

• Develop survey plans and construction documents under the direction of a Professional Land Surveyor.
• Work efficiently and manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment.
• Perform work accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain company CAD standards throughout projects.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of progressive survey work experience or an Associates Degree in a CAD-related field.
• Working knowledge of topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, subdivisions, easement, and vacation plats.
• Experience with Microstation is preferred.
• Exceptional client service skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Self-starter requiring minimal supervision once trained.
• General knowledge of MS Office.
• Good communication skills.
