About the position
The Survey CAD Technician role at Actalent involves utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D for various survey drafting tasks. The technician will be responsible for performing and completing Topographic, ALTA, As-Built, and Boundary Surveys, as well as engaging in design drafting activities. This position requires collaboration with the CAD team to ensure project accuracy and efficiency, making it essential for candidates to have strong CAD skills and a passion for survey drafting.
Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for survey drafting tasks.
- Perform and complete Topographic, ALTA, As-Built, and Boundary Surveys.
- Engage in design drafting, including finished ground surface, alignments, profiles, and pipe networks.
- Collaborate with the CAD team to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience in survey drafting.
- Ability to complete Topographic, ALTA, As-Built, and Boundary Surveys.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with MicroStation is preferred but not required.
- Passionate about survey drafting and committed to pursuing it as a career.
