About the position
Ardurra is seeking a Survey CAD Technician with a minimum of 4 years of survey experience to join their team in Coeur d'Alene, ID. The role involves drafting and producing survey-related documents for various projects, including land development and transportation. The ideal candidate should have experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation/Open Roads Designer, and a strong understanding of surveying principles.
Responsibilities
- Complete survey-related drawings in the office.
- Read and understand field notes and sketches from survey crews.
- Perform office calculations for surveys and construction staking.
- Utilize prior survey maps and information effectively.
- Conduct basic office duties such as data import, reduction, and filing.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in drafting records of survey and related documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation/Open Roads Designer.
- Knowledge of boundary, construction, and topographic surveying.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
- Willingness to learn and maintain a positive attitude.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience processing and reducing point cloud data.
- Working knowledge of ArcMap.
- Skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
