About the position

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team, focusing on drafting and design using various CAD software to create detailed drawings and plans. The role emphasizes good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. Experience in the Professional Land Survey field is a plus, as the position involves integrating traditional survey deliverables with advanced Digital Twin technology.

Responsibilities

• Read and check Engineering & Architectural plans.
• Check, troubleshoot, and work with field notes and point data.
• Compile and prepare field-ready data from multiple online community databases and map sets.
• Draft As-Builts, Plot Plans, Plats, Topographic 3D Surfaces, Boundary Surveys, and other technical documents in a timely manner.
• Work with specific ARI drawing templates, field-to-finish codes, and other company standards as required.
• Prepare detailed drawings and plans using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Revit, and Sketchup.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Draft 2D and 3D models for various projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders or changes in project scope.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for easy access and reference.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience using Carlson Survey or Autodesk Civil 3D drafting software.
• Proficiency in CAD software is essential; experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Revit, and Sketchup is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in drafting or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• A degree or certification in Drafting Technology or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional Land Survey field experience is a plus.
