About the position
Stinger Bridge & Iron is seeking a qualified Surveyor to join their team, focusing on bridge projects within the Southwestern Bridge and Highway market. The role involves outdoor work and may require air or road travel as needed. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in surveying within the steel industry or construction surveying.
Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys to determine the locations of structures and features in bridge projects.
- Operate Trimble RTS Series Robotic Total Station for accurate measurements.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
- Prepare and maintain accurate survey records and reports.
- Assist in the layout of structures and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a surveyor in the Steel Industry or in construction surveying.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record for insurance purposes.
- Ability to operate Trimble RTS Series Robotic Total Station.
