Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection of surveying data for pipeline projects
- Place marks, stakes, pins, and monuments
- Drive stakes to fix survey points and determine location data
- Measure distances using survey tape and accurately read measurements
- Carry stakes and other field equipment over long distances and through various terrains
- Perform maintenance of field equipment and maintain supplies for the survey crew
- Take direction from the Party Chief in a safe and efficient manner
Requirements
- Previous pipeline surveying experience preferred
- Familiarity with commonly used surveying terms and survey tools
- Strong work ethic and team-player attitude
- Successful completion of pre-employment fitness-for-duty physical, background check, and drug screen
- A valid driver license
- Willingness to travel
