About the position

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Trimble Robotic Total Station for precise surveying and construction layout tasks.
• Perform site surveys and set up control points to ensure accurate project execution.
• Conduct site topographic surveys on existing conditions and calibrate sites.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to interpret plans and drawings.
• Transfer data between the data collector and office software for processing and reporting.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and functions correctly.
• Maintain detailed records of survey data, field notes, and other relevant documentation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working on-site.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in the Excavating/Construction Industry.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certificate or associate's degree in surveying technology preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience with Trimble products and related surveying equipment.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Works Manager, Carlson programming, Civil 3D, or similar drafting software.
• General knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
