About the position

Actalent is currently seeking a Staff Surveyor to join their growing team in Florida. The primary focus of the Staff Surveyor will be to work on both small and large-scale projects alongside a dedicated team. This role involves preparing site or building information models and CAD deliverables, which are essential for the successful execution of various projects. The projects will encompass a range of sectors including commercial, retail, and residential properties, primarily within the local region and across the state of Florida. The Staff Surveyor will play a crucial role in ensuring that all surveying tasks are completed accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the projects undertaken by Actalent. In this position, the Staff Surveyor will be expected to utilize their expertise in surveying and CAD to produce high-quality deliverables. The role requires a combination of field data collection and office work, as the position is hybrid in nature. This means that the Staff Surveyor will spend some days on-site in Orlando, Florida, and other days working remotely. The ability to adapt to both environments is essential for this role, as it will involve collaboration with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met. The Staff Surveyor will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the surveying process, ensuring that all work is conducted safely and effectively.
