About the position

The Surveyor position at Actalent involves performing both field and office work related to surveying tasks. Responsibilities

• Perform field work including construction layout, topographic data collection, boundary research, ALTA surveys, and utility research.
• Conduct office work such as boundary and control calculations, CAD LiDAR processing and extraction, and field data processing.
• Assist the supervisor in completing tasks to ensure quality project delivery on schedule.
• Work on a variety of projects in and around Metro Detroit, primarily focusing on municipal/public sector projects.

Requirements

• Experience in surveying and using total station equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD software for LiDAR processing and extraction.
• Ability to perform boundary and control calculations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ALTA surveys.
• Familiarity with utility research techniques.
