About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sushi Helper to join our team in a dynamic food service environment. Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Support the culinary team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals in a timely manner.
• Participate in catering events as needed, providing support during service.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Previous Sushi Chef experience in a grocery store or restaurant is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in the food service or catering industry is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods is a plus.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain attention to detail.
