About the position

The Sustainability and Data Analyst position at Expeditors is a full-time role focused on supporting sales enablement and customer success for the new Logistics Emission Services venture. This role involves researching customer sustainability profiles, managing sales pipeline data, and delivering analytical reports to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction. The analyst will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the measurement and improvement of logistics emissions for clients, while also ensuring data integrity and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Research prospect or customer sustainability posture, commitments, and profile through various sources.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and customers to understand their reporting and analytical needs.
  • Manage sales pipeline and customer profile data integrity by providing accurate reporting.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze internal and external reports, including KPIs and sales performance reports.
  • Gather data from customers for assessing data readiness or supporting measurement services.
  • Cleanse and normalize data using service and customer master data references.
  • Develop and support analytical reports that provide customers with timely access to key information.
  • Design, implement, and maintain reports using reporting tools like Power BI and Excel.
  • Build interactive reports and dashboards to visualize key insights for customers.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of underlying data, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science).
  • 3-5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a sales, logistics, or financial environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel (including Pivot Tables, VBA, array functions, and Power Pivots), Power BI, SQL, and Power Query.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes, data extraction, and transformation.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large, complex financial and commission data sets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights clearly.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and integrity in all data analysis and reporting activities.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work independently.
