About The Position
Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region is seeking a dedicated Sustainability Coordinator to join our team in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This full-time position is integral to our mission of providing safe and affordable housing while enhancing community sustainability. The Sustainability Coordinator will report directly to the Sustainability Director and will be responsible for the strategic development, execution, and expansion of our environmental initiatives and programs. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple projects, foster partnerships, and effectively communicate our sustainability goals to various stakeholders. The Sustainability Coordinator will play a key role in our ReNew the Block initiative, which involves building and maintaining relationships with homeowners to facilitate critical home repairs. This includes project updates, assessments, and scheduling, as well as planning and attending community events. The Coordinator will work closely with the marketing team to create outreach materials and ensure effective internal communication regarding project updates and event organization. In addition, the Coordinator will manage the Fishers and Farmers Partnership, developing a comprehensive content sharing strategy for digital platforms and video series. This includes supporting the steering committee with events and presentations, creating annual reports, and facilitating workshops. The role also involves collaborating with the La Crosse Area Waters initiative, where the Coordinator will research and manage participation in events, analyze outreach analytics, and provide updates to both the La Crosse Urban Storm Water Group and internal staff.
