About the position

The SVP, Asset Management at SitusAMC is responsible for the overall management of a client's portfolio post-acquisition, serving as the primary contact for portfolio management, servicing oversight, and asset strategy. This role involves overseeing multiple servicers and strategic initiatives across various asset classes, ensuring client objectives are met through effective collaboration and performance management. The position requires strong analytical skills, project management capabilities, and the ability to drive enhanced performance within the client's portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a client's portfolio post-acquisition, acting as the primary point of contact for all portfolio management activities.
  • Oversee multiple servicers, trusts, and strategic portfolio initiatives simultaneously.
  • Coordinate servicing transfers, operational reviews, and remittance reconciliations.
  • Render workout decisions and identify servicing performance irregularities.
  • Collaborate with diligence and collateral services teams to define asset-level strategies post-settlement.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, review loan documentation, and assess compliance with GSE and regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop portfolio campaign strategies and customized reporting for clients.
  • Ensure quality and performance of the Asset Management Team.
  • Maintain visibility into the status of every deal and ensure appropriate reviews are performed in the system.
  • Utilize Excel for data reconciliation and analysis, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.

Requirements

  • College degree or training in finance/mortgage banking preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 2+ years in an AVP level role or equivalent.
  • Commercial real estate asset management experience is required.
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft products.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong analytical ability and strategic thinking.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in mortgage/secondary market preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with staff and clients.
