About the position

The SVP, Asset Management at SitusAMC is responsible for the overall management of client portfolios, acting as the primary point of contact for portfolio management, servicing oversight, and asset strategy. This role involves overseeing multiple servicers and strategic initiatives, ensuring client objectives are met through effective coordination and analysis. The position requires collaboration with various teams to define asset-level strategies and enhance performance across all asset classes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a client's portfolio post-acquisition, serving as the primary contact for all portfolio management activities.
  • Oversee multiple servicers, trusts, and strategic portfolio initiatives simultaneously.
  • Coordinate servicing transfers and conduct operational reviews and remittance reconciliations.
  • Render workout decisions and identify servicing performance irregularities or exceptions.
  • Drive enhanced performance by the client's servicer through effective oversight and analysis.
  • Collaborate with diligence and collateral services teams to define asset-level strategies post-settlement.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, reviewing loan documentation and compliance with GSE and regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop portfolio campaign strategies and customized reporting for clients.
  • Ensure the overall quality and performance of the Asset Management Team.
  • Maintain visibility into the status of every deal and ensure appropriate reviews are performed in the system.

Requirements

  • College degree or training in finance/mortgage banking preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 2+ years in an AVP level role or equivalent.
  • Commercial real estate asset management experience is required.
  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong analytical ability and good judgment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with staff and clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Mortgage/secondary market experience or equivalent education and experience preferred.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
