About the position

The SVP, Asset Management at SitusAMC is responsible for the overall management of a client's portfolio post-acquisition. This role serves as the primary point of contact for portfolio management, overseeing multiple servicers and strategic initiatives across various asset classes. Key responsibilities include coordinating servicing transfers, operational reviews, and driving performance enhancements while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The position also involves developing portfolio strategies, customized reporting, and managing the performance of the Asset Management Team to meet client objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a client's portfolio post-acquisition as the primary contact for all portfolio management activities.
  • Oversee multiple servicers, trusts, and strategic portfolio initiatives simultaneously.
  • Coordinate servicing transfers and conduct operational reviews.
  • Perform remittance and data reconciliation, and render workout decisions.
  • Identify servicing performance irregularities and drive enhancements with servicers.
  • Collaborate with diligence and collateral services teams to define asset-level strategies post-settlement.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, review loan documentation, and ensure compliance with GSE and regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop portfolio campaign strategies and customized reporting for clients.
  • Manage project functions and ensure overall quality and performance of the Asset Management Team.

Requirements

  • College degree or training in finance/mortgage banking preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 2 years in an AVP level role or equivalent.
  • Experience in commercial real estate asset management is required.
  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong analytical ability and strategic thinking skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask.
  • Demonstrated professional behavior and teamwork.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in mortgage/secondary market preferred.
  • Ability to work well with staff and clients.
