First National Bank of River Falls (FNBRF) is seeking a driven and knowledgeable finance leader for the position of Senior Vice President - Chief Financial Officer. This role is crucial as it comes in the wake of the retirement of a long-standing employee who has served for over 45 years. The position is based on-site at our River Falls, WI office, and it offers an opportunity to lead the financial strategy of a 120-year independent community bank with $315 million in assets across two locations. As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for managing investment portfolio activities to optimize performance through the development of investment policies and strategies. You will monitor the quality, liquidity, and profitability of the investment portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory liquidity, funding, and capital requirements. Your role will also involve analyzing and managing asset and liability interest rate risk, collaborating with the Pricing Committee to adjust deposit interest rates, and conducting financial analyses to identify trends and opportunities for institutional improvement. In addition to overseeing general accounting functions to ensure accurate financial statements, you will actively participate with the President & CEO in capital management and planning. You will prepare and administer all accounting and regulatory reporting, including the quarterly CALL report, and work with external accountants to optimize the bank's tax position. Formulating and implementing the annual budget in collaboration with department managers will also be a key responsibility. Your leadership will extend to counseling and collaborating with management on fiscal control, profitability, and the strategic direction of the bank. You will lead all finance department activities, including staff supervision, and participate in community and professional activities to network and develop new business opportunities that enhance the bank's growth.
