About the position

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Opry Entertainment Group will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing and advertising strategies of the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CMO is tasked with driving sales growth, traffic, and conversion through ticket sales by implementing high-impact marketing tactics aimed at engaging fans and customers who appreciate live entertainment, music, and attractions-based businesses. This position requires a strategic thinker who is passionate about innovation, possesses exceptional leadership skills, and has a profound understanding of customer-centric marketing principles. The CMO will be responsible for establishing and executing long-range, comprehensive marketing strategies that not only support the company's competitive advantage but also increase revenue through enhanced traffic and conversion of ticket sales across various venues. This includes driving traffic and conversions through impactful marketing campaigns for live events, which encompass promotions, advertising, and partnerships. A significant aspect of this role involves developing and executing a comprehensive Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategy to engage fans across OEG assets, thereby enhancing overall customer satisfaction, loyalty, and lifetime value. In addition, the CMO will design and manage loyalty programs aimed at attracting, retaining, and engaging members. The role also involves leading the optimization and management of brand guidelines, ensuring that all marketing efforts align with the company's objectives and operations. The CMO will collaborate with senior leadership to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and digital platforms, and partner with management on marketing strategies for key events to drive fan awareness and engagement. The CMO will oversee the development of strategies to sell ticketed products at Opry venues, utilizing data and analytics to drive conversions. This includes planning and executing marketing campaigns, overseeing digital marketing efforts such as SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and online advertising. The CMO will also be responsible for developing and managing the marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation to maximize ROI and achieve strategic goals. Furthermore, the CMO will support programming efforts at Ole Red and Category 10 businesses, enhance the creative process, and oversee customer feedback mechanisms to improve services and products. Conducting market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape will also be essential to this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
