About the position

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will lead the development and execution of marketing and advertising strategies for the organization, focusing on driving sales growth and enhancing customer engagement in the live entertainment sector. This strategic role requires innovative thinking, exceptional leadership, and a deep understanding of customer-centric marketing to effectively reach and engage fans and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute long-range, comprehensive marketing strategies to support competitive advantage and increase revenue through ticket sales.
  • Drive traffic and conversions through high-impact marketing campaigns for live events, including promotions, advertising, and partnerships.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive CRM strategy to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and lifetime value.
  • Design and manage loyalty programs to attract, retain, and engage members.
  • Lead the optimization and management of brand guidelines.
  • Deliver effective UI/UX, use cases, and user journeys for branded websites and ticketing experiences.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing strategies with company objectives.
  • Partner with senior management to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
  • Work with senior leadership on marketing strategies for key events to drive fan awareness and engagement.
  • Develop strategies to sell ticketed products using data and analytics to drive conversions.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including promotions and partnerships.
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, and online advertising.
  • Utilize CRM data to create personalized engagement initiatives and measure marketing effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI and achieve strategic goals.
  • Support programming efforts at Ole Red and Category 10 businesses.
  • Enhance the creative process, delivering innovative assets to support brand positioning.
  • Own the websites, focusing on UI/UX and customer experiences.
  • Oversee customer feedback mechanisms to improve services and products.
  • Conduct market research to understand customers, market trends, and competition.
  • Provide thought partnership on pricing strategies by brand/concept.
  • Travel to venue locations to understand unique marketing needs.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience with a proven track record in a senior leadership role.
  • Passionate about the industry and adaptable to changing trends.
  • Customer-centric focus on enhancing relationships and delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to foresee industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
