About the position
The SVP Credit Risk Audit position involves overseeing and conducting audits of the credit risk framework associated with the Bank's activities, particularly in Markets and Wealth Management. The role requires a strong understanding of commercial and wholesale credit risk, as well as the ability to identify inconsistencies in the control environment and regulatory compliance. The position also includes leadership responsibilities, guiding less experienced peers and advising clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct audit of credit risk framework generated from the Bank's activities in businesses such as Markets and Wealth Management
- Provide oversight of credit risk management of securities financing transactions, FX and OTC derivatives, direct credit facilities among other products
- Identify inconsistencies with the control environment, regulatory requirements
- Assist in executing the audit plan, continuous monitoring, and special assignments
- Demonstrates leadership through work guidance and training of less experienced peers and through advice to assigned clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business
- 7+ years of experience
- Experience in Audit is a plus
