About the position

The Financial Solutions Sr. Lead Analyst is a strategic professional responsible for overseeing the design, roll-out, and governance of financial solutions within Citi. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes and the ability to adapt to changing business and regulatory needs. The analyst will manage staff and resources, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various teams and external stakeholders. The position is critical in providing authoritative advice and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, ultimately impacting the business's operational success.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the design, roll-out, and governance of Financial solutions.
• Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for finance processes across Citi businesses.
• Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance.
• Helps establish and govern policies and frameworks for global Finance processes.
• Manages complex and critical professional disciplinary areas.
• Provides advice to internal clients on business trends and operating environment changes.
• Assesses risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and their interactions.
• Strong communication and diplomacy skills to guide and influence others.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
• Self-motivated with decision-making capabilities in the absence of detailed instructions.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• In-depth knowledge of banking products and systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree and/or CPA preferred.
• Strong understanding of the USPB business and data needs for reporting.
