As the Senior Vice President - General Manager for the Texas Region at Ezee Fiber, this role is pivotal in driving operational and strategic initiatives within the Houston Market. Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic vision for the Houston market, ensuring operational plans align with the company's long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with the executive leadership team to adapt strategies as market conditions evolve and guide regional teams in executing these strategies effectively.
  • Inspire, mentor, and manage teams across diverse departments, promoting collaboration and innovation.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and teamwork to ensure seamless operational integration and alignment with regional and corporate objectives.
  • Ensure that all construction projects and field activities are executed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
  • Provide high-level guidance and support to project managers and field teams, ensuring that goals are met in alignment with the company's strategic priorities.
  • Manage the market budget, making informed decisions on resource allocation to maximize efficiency and return on investment.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures where necessary while ensuring that the region remains profitable and within budgetary constraints.
  • Regularly assess the performance of all operational areas, identifying strengths, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Provide comprehensive reports to senior management, offering data-driven insights, actionable recommendations, and updates on the region's progress toward its strategic goals.
  • Ensure that all operations comply with legal requirements, industry regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A master's degree or additional certifications in leadership, business, or operations would be highly advantageous.
  • Extensive experience (10-15 years) in operations management, with a proven track record of leadership in large, complex environments.
  • Experience in the specific industry relevant to the company (e.g., construction, logistics, or sales operations) is highly desirable, with a demonstrated ability to navigate industry challenges and drive success.
