About the position

As the SVP, Group Executive Creative Director at Jack Morton, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative vision and output of the organization. This hybrid position requires you to work onsite three days a week in New York City, collaborating closely with the Global Chief Creative Officer to elevate the agency's market presence and deliver exceptional brand experiences. You will lead creative initiatives, mentor talent, and foster a culture of innovation and inclusivity within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Elevate the organization through creativity and world-class creative output.
  • Own all regional Creative and support across the US, critiquing the quality of all Creative output.
  • Play a primary role in client presentations, demonstrating the ability to sell ideas and communicate effectively.
  • Foster an environment that compels the production of bold concepts for major brands.
  • Collaborate with account, strategy, and production teams to ensure Creative concepts meet client objectives.
  • Serve as a senior Creative lead on targeted pitches and client opportunities, developing and executing Creative strategies.
  • Represent the agency on the Global Creative Council and network with global Creative teams.
  • Manage senior-level creative talent and oversee mid- and junior-level talent management.
  • Provide meaningful reviews and career guidance for direct reports, mentoring at least 2 Creatives and 2 non-Creatives annually.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with senior leadership and clients, partnering on operational support and profitability.
  • Create a team environment that promotes mutual respect and partnership across functions.
  • Lead new business efforts in partnership with the growth team.
  • Partner with the CCO and agency marketing to craft award-winning case studies and participate in industry events.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in a leading brand or experiential agency or a progressive ideas-driven advertising or digital agency.
  • Strong creative pedigree with a track record of delivering award-winning Creative.
  • Unwavering curiosity for Creative and cultural innovation.
  • Proven creative leader with a thoughtful, mature, deliberate creative opinion.
  • Ability to partner with senior leaders to drive business results.
  • Strong portfolio of brands and experience running major pieces of business.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across a breadth of clients, projects, audiences, and mediums.
  • Passion for and experience in nurturing creative talent.
  • Inspiring and inclusive leader who sets a high bar for the team.
  • Well-rounded, big-idea and big-picture business thinker and strategist.
