About the position

The Divisional Sales Manager is responsible for managing a team of Regional Directors and Wholesalers, focusing on driving the distribution of Fidelity products through Financial Advisors and Registered Investment Advisors. This role emphasizes teamwork, employee development, and client satisfaction, with a strong focus on coaching and strategy execution to enhance team effectiveness and client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the team of Regional Directors/Wholesalers.
  • Coach and develop team members to enhance their sales, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Articulate and execute sales strategies based on a deep understanding of client firms and opportunities.
  • Maximize team effectiveness around sales strategies and client opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to optimize ROI with the sales team and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Series 7, 63, 24, 51 Required
  • Minimum 5 years of sales management experience in the Financial Services industry preferred
  • Ability to manage salespeople with varying degrees of experience and tenure
  • Passion for coaching and providing constructive feedback
  • Desire to lead, motivate, and collaborate for team benefit
  • Knowledge of the industry and competitive landscape
  • Strategic thinking about broader business
  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines
  • Skill in managing resources available to the team
  • Proven skills in developing a positive sales culture and inclusive environment
  • Strength in problem solving and issue resolution
  • Established COI relationships in the region.
