About the position

LPL Financial (Nasdaq: LPLA) was founded on the principle that the firm should work for the advisor, and not the other way around. Today, LPL is a leader in the markets we serve, supporting more than 21,000 financial advisors, 1,100 institution-based investment programs, and 500 independent RIA firms nationwide. We are steadfast in our commitment to the advisor-centered model and the belief that Americans deserve access to personalized guidance from a financial advisor. At LPL, independence means that advisors have the freedom they deserve to choose the business model, services, and technology resources that allow them to run their perfect practice. And they have the freedom to manage their client relationships, because they know their clients best. Simply put, we take care of our advisors, so they can take care of their clients. The SVP, Linsco Affiliation role will lead the strategic development and execution of LPL's Linsco affiliation model, including program development, evolution, and management. Linsco is a modern employee advisor affiliation model that embraces the spirit of independence without all the responsibilities that come from running a business. Advisors can create and customize their financial practice, build value, own their client relationships, control their brand, and choose how they want to grow — all at the highest cash payout level in the employee model marketplace. Linsco advisors benefit from holistic transition services, comprehensive field management, dedicated staffing, office space, marketing support, and technology infrastructure. They also gain access to LPL's suite of business and growth solutions, including comprehensive high-net-worth capabilities and consulting for their clients. Essential Functions include establishing and leading a clear customer-centric focus with an emphasis on ensuring an optimal advisor experience, partnering with sales, marketing, and consulting organizations to develop and maintain awareness campaigns, and driving meaningful growth of the business. The role is responsible for overall profitability of the business line, through active P&L reporting and managing key elements of the model such as pricing strategy, experience design, and offer evolution. The SVP will serve as a subject matter expert resource to counsel prospective and existing clients on LPL's unique capabilities through consultation and analysis. Building strong relationships and collaborating with internal business partners to strategize and develop innovative solutions for an industry-leading adviser experience is crucial, while also being accountable to milestones, timelines, and outcomes. The role requires learning quickly from customer, partner, and prospect feedback, applying an entrepreneurial mindset to iterate the program nimbly, and leveraging market data to identify opportunities, influence capabilities development, and guide marketing campaigns. Additionally, the SVP will develop and maintain detailed competitive assessments and identify key areas for competitive advantage, actively monitor and analyze emerging trends, and effectively leverage data to track key program performance indicators, ensuring alignment with company priorities. Lastly, being a visible force in supporting community-building across both advisor and employee communities is essential.
