About the position

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Loan Operations at SitusAMC is responsible for overseeing the management and operations of commercial real estate loan portfolios. This supervisory role involves leading a team, ensuring efficient loan processing, and maintaining high standards of service delivery. The SVP will interact with various stakeholders, including clients and third parties, to resolve issues and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities for operational teams handling loan onboarding, modification, and maintenance.
• Lead, mentor, and manage junior to mid-level management staff, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Manage productivity of offshore resources supporting operational functions.
• Maintain visibility into daily task assignments to ensure timely and accurate execution.
• Serve as primary point of escalation and project coordinator for respective areas of responsibility.
• Represent the company in resolving non-compliant issues through communication with internal and external parties.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational performance.
• Perform quality control on completed products and communicate results to team members.
• Continuously evaluate resources to ensure service level objectives are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance/accounting, business, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 12+ years of industry experience, with at least 2 years in a VP level role or equivalent.
• High comfort level with industry-related software systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and strategic thinking.
• High degree of professionalism and ability to work as a team player.
• Proactive approach to problem recognition and resolution.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage direct reports.
