About the position

The Senior Vice President, National Field Sales is responsible for managing the strategic direction of the national Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) and Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) teams at Medline Industries. This role involves leading a team of VPs, Specialists, Managers, and Directors to ensure sales volume and margin objectives are met across various sales channels. The SVP will also focus on developing provider executive relationships and representing Medline at industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction and initiatives for the IDN team within the sales channel and national GPO teams.
  • Provide leadership and development, including training, for the IDN team.
  • Grow sales and profit while controlling expenses necessary for running the sales division.
  • Collaborate with HR and Sales Compensation to devise compensation plans.
  • Align and execute the IDN Strategy with Sales force and Sales leadership.
  • Develop and deploy a comprehensive strategy to drive sales growth across multiple channels.
  • Establish and develop Provider Executive Relationships as the Executive Sponsor for Medline.
  • Represent Medline at industry trade and thought leader organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 15 years of relevant management and high-level account strategy experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.
  • Health Care sales leadership experience.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving ability.
  • Strong business acumen and leadership skills.
