About the position

The Product Control Lead Analyst is a senior-level position at Citi responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the bank's financial records. This role involves collaboration with the Finance team to manage data integrity, general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution, valuation control, and product P&L and balance sheet reporting. The analyst will drive compliance with regulations and uphold the firm's reputation while supervising the activities of others.

Responsibilities

• Apply an in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions.
• Ensure delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses and/or geographic regions.
• Resolve complex and varied issues, taking action and weighing various alternatives while balancing potentially conflicting needs.
• Escalate anomalies and issues in a timely manner.
• Assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
• Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, and applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior and business practices.
• Supervise the activity of others and create accountability for maintaining standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a related role.
• Experience in financial control, valuation, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of financial products and valuation.
• Evidence of a robust control focus.
• Management experience.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
