About the position

The SW CI/CD Engineer will be a key member of the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (RA ART) for the Missile Defense National Team, focusing on Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC). This role involves implementing and maintaining a standardized CI/CD pipeline across multiple product teams and development sites, ensuring compliance with security requirements and facilitating effective communication among teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a standardized CI/CD pipeline for all Product Teams within the RA ART.
• Work closely with the Cyber and Platforms ART to ensure tools and applications conform to security requirements.
• Present regular updates on the status of the pipeline and resolve any issues that arise.

Requirements

• Experience working within classified environments to implement CI/CD pipelines for multiple software releases and build versions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Systems Admins, IT, and Security.
• Proficient in MS Office products.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Linux system administration and System Security Implementations.
• Experience with Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with DEVSECOPS practices.
• Experience with Linux shell scripting, Ansible playbook development, and Security-Enhanced (SE) Linux administration.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.
• Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Multi-Factor Authentication, OpenShift, OpenStack, VMware ESXI, and Active Directory.
