About the position

The SW CI/CD Engineer will work closely with the Cyber and Platforms ART to maintain and ensure compliance of tools and applications within the CI/CD pipeline, particularly in a classified environment. The role requires regular updates on pipeline status and resolution of any issues that arise, necessitating strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Cyber and Platforms ART to maintain tools and applications within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Present regular updates on the status of the pipeline and resolve any issues that arise.

Requirements

• Experience working within classified environments to implement CI/CD pipelines for multiple software releases and build versions.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office products.
• Ability to work with multiple disciplinary teams, including Systems Admins, IT, and Security.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with Linux system administration and system security implementations.
• Experience with Linux shell scripting, Ansible playbook development, and management.
• Familiarity with Security-Enhanced (SE) Linux and Red Hat repository administration.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.
• Experience with DEVSECOPS.
• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
• Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication implementation like IPA and ADFS.
• Familiarity with OpenShift, OpenStack, VMware ESXI, QAS/VAS, Windows, Active Directory, Backup and Recovery, Containers, and Container Orchestration products.
• Understanding of PaaS and SaaS concepts.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery as it applies to IT products.
